Bartholomeus Henri Van de Velde  has been appointed as General Director of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco starting with immediate effect.

Bartholomeus Henri Van de Velde is a Belgian orchestra conductor and likewise a change management expert. His specialties are leadership development, changing perspectives among teams and also creation of value between team and management. From being a violinist, having found his right place in being an orchestra conductor, later entrepreneur and change management expert Bartholomeus has gone a long way and has a rich experience to take from. During the creation of his  ‘Charlemagne orchestra for Europe’ he became an ambassador for several important brands as Rolex, Jaguar, BMW.

Bartholomeus Van de Velde has a great experience as a conductor and has conducted orchestras such as Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra Budapest, NationalOrchestra of Mexico, Dubna Symphony Orchestra in Moscow Russia, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra in Japan, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra in the USA, Deutsche Kammerakademie, Slovak Sinfonietta (2 European tours), Philharmonic Orchestra Buenos Aires in Argentina, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in South Korea, Shenzen Symphony Orchestra in China (world orchestra UNESCO), star guest at Borobudur International Festival Indonesia, Sinfonica Giovanile del Piemonte Italy or the Orquestra Filarmonica de Querétaro Mexico.

He has also worked with renowned soloists such as Mstislav Rostropovitch, Yuzuko Horigome, Daniel Blumenthal, Anna Fedorova, Sabrina-Vivian Höpcker, Kristina Kolar, Gary Hoffman, Jacqueline Corado, Dan Zhu, Arturo Nieto-Dorantes, Erika Dobosiewicz, Soyoung Yoon, Philip Graffin, Lorenzo Gatto, Justus Grim, Tatiana Samouil, Simone Lamsma, Liviu Prunaru, Janusz Olejniczak and many others.
